We do not offer a winter season due to the colder temperatures during that time.
We accept team registration.

We require a minimum of 5 teams to register in order for the league to make.
If the league does not make due to not enough registrations, you will be refunded your money.

No, we require each individual player to create their own Amilia account and register for their team. This is so each individual can read and sign the waiver and guidelines for the league.
Each team can have a max of 20 players. You may drop/add through the last regular season games. Once playoffs begin, rosters are locked and no additions can be made.

During field play there must be 5/guys and 5/girls on the field. There must be the same amount of girls and guys on the field at all times. Games must begin with at least eight players (4/male and 4 female). If a team at any point only has 7 available players, then the team will forfeit.
We do not provide practice times for teams. You may utilize the open gym time, but must have a membership and must share the court with other members. The gym during the week is mainly occupied by recreational classes, youth leagues, and open gym. There is not enough space for every team to get an official practice time. One solution if you would like to use our gym for practice is to reserve the gym. The gym is only available to rent after hours on Saturdays or Sundays. Just submit a request here at this link: Recreation Center Reservation Form
The league is truly a recreational league. We do ask teams upon registration if they would prefer to play competitive or recreational. If we have enough teams to make two separate divisions we will break it into a competitive division and recreational division. This is not guaranteed to happen every season. It truly depends on how many teams we have and what they request.
No, only game scores and team records are available online during the season. We do not keep individual stats.
We use a variation of college and high school rules. You can find the full rules at by clicking here. Rules & League Info
You are guaranteed 6 regular season + a playoff game
There is a possibility for double headers during regular season and playoffs. Playoffs require double headers due to league logistics. In order for the league to have referees, the contract group we work with requires a minimum of 3 games a day. Due to this during the playoffs, it is ultimately impossible to schedule just 1 or 2 championship games for a day.
Games are held at BB Owen Sports Complex located at 4700 Squires Drive, The Colony, Texas 75056
No. Alcohol is not allowed at any city athletic fields.
We only have one official for the games to keep the registration price affordable for teams. If we add another official we would have to increase the registration price.
The City leased Five Star to The Athletic Club starting in September 2023. The Athletic Club now manages and maintains that facility. Due to this we would have to pay a fee to reserve those fees for the league. This would cost the registration price to go up. Our goal is to provide a program that is affordable.
No, entry is free for anyone wanting to watch games. Though spectators must be respectful and have sportsmanship themselves. All spectators are subject to the same sportsmanship rules as the players.
If a player is injured, we have a first aid kit on site. Staff will assess the situation and if needed call an ambulance. It is ultimately up to the player if they want to receive treatment.
